IT Asset Recovery (ITAD‑Aligned) & Electronics Collection
TechRecycle™ provides mobile pickup and responsible handling of computers, laptops, servers, networking equipment, telecom hardware, industrial electronics, and legacy components. Our process follows ITAD‑aligned principles: identifying equipment, maintaining chain‑of‑custody awareness, and ensuring each item moves through proper downstream channels with accuracy and lifecycle responsibility.
- Mobile pickup of retired IT equipment
- Secure transport of data‑bearing devices
- Responsible downstream movement and recycling

Data Handling
TechRecycle™ does not perform data destruction or data wiping as a service. All data‑bearing devices are collected, transported, and transferred with ITAD‑aligned chain‑of‑custody awareness to responsible downstream processors for proper end‑of‑life handling.
- Chain‑of‑custody awareness
- Secure transport of drives and storage devices
- Inventory support when applicable
- Downstream recycling of hard drives and SSDs (no destruction services offered)

Specialized Recovery
Some equipment requires additional care due to age, condition, or technical complexity. Our background in electronics, mechanical technology, and structured technical study supports ITAD‑style identification and safe handling of specialized hardware.
- Servers, networking gear, telecom, industrial electronics
- Legacy hardware identification
- Value recovery assessment (when applicable)
- Safe handling of mixed‑condition or uncommon systems

Repair, Refurbish, & Upgrade *(Application Dependent)*
Technical repair and refurbishment are part of our background and may be applied when appropriate, but they are not offered as standard services. Our priority is giving technical hardware a proper end to its lifecycle while maintaining the flexibility to adapt when a situation calls for deeper technical work.

To maintain clarity and protect our clients, TechRecycle™ does not provide:
- Data destruction or data wiping
- On‑site repair services
- On‑site refurbishment
- Hazardous waste processing
- Public drop‑offs
- Consumer junk removal

Service Model: Mobile‑Only Operations
TechRecycle™ operates strictly as a mobile pickup service. All equipment is collected on‑site and transported off‑site for sorting and downstream handling. No walk‑ins, drop‑offs, or on‑site business activity are offered. This ensures compliance with local zoning requirements while providing flexible, reliable service across Michigan.
